Reebok Floatride Run Fast 3
Minty fresh trainers for people who want a super lightweight running experience – it’s all in the foam cushioning and second-skin fit breathable mono mesh upper. That doesn’t mean they won’t keep you feeling protected, however: a moulded heel cradles the foot, and the lace closure leaves you snug as a bug.
Allbirds Tree Dashers
We have good news: a carbon-neutral running trainer design does exist. They’re from Obama-approved brand Allbirds and, yes, there’s some emission-offsetting thrown into the mix, but it is mostly down to the label’s sustainable methods. The seamless knitted upper (it’s breathable, and seriously comfortable) is originally sourced from eucalyptus trees, while the foam midsole is made from the world’s first carbon-negative green EVA (a vinyl created from suger cane).
You can always trust Merrell to kit you out in the very best trail running gear – and as terrains start to become slippier, you need a sturdy, protective pair of trainers. The flex-grooves in the midsole give you a confident ground connection, as does the Vibram MegaGrip. What’s more they’re vegan friendly, and the EVA foam insole has a 100% recycled top sheet.
